Vader Canturo maakt internationaal furore in de springsport onder Bernardo Alves en nam ondermeer deel aan de Olympische Spelen in Athene en het WK in Aken. Verder was Canturo winnaar van de Grote Prijs van Madrid en plaatste hij zich als 4e in de Grote Prijs van Aken. Canturo voegt daarnaast de waardevolle springgenen toe van Holsteiner stam 162. Moedersvader Coriano presteerde eveneens succesvol in de internationale springsport en is een kleinzoon van de invloedrijke Ramiro-dochter Golda uit stam 318d2. In de derde generatie voert Canturano het prestatiebloed van Ahorn Z. Ook de bekende fokhengsten Indorado, Lordanos, Numero Uno, Lux Z en Concerto II voeren aan moederszijde het bloed van Ahorn Z. Canturano is zelf een product uit Holsteiner stam 2067. Overgrootmoeder Orion (Fontan) geniet eveneens bekendheid als grootmoeder van de sporthengst Gondoso (Gonzales) waarmee Hugo Simon de Derby van Hamburg op zijn naam schreef. Uit deze wijdvertakte Holsteiner familie komen eveneens de internationale springpaarden Leonardo, Lordon, Leonidas, Con Spirito, Landstreicher, Cattani en Sympatico.

Moeder is een van de eerste afstammelingen van de Olympiade hengst Eurocommerce Berlin. De stam waaruit Zottie-P stamt is de welbekende Lottie-Zottie stam. Zottie zal vanaf eind 2008 worden opgeleid en een toekomstige sportcarriere tegemoetgaan. Wij kijken met belangstelling uit naar de verdere ontwikkleing van Dottie-P. Een belofte voor de toekomst met een pedigree om van te smullen.

His sire Canturo- the last son of the renowned Cantus- was in Athens the Olympiade horse of Bernardo Alves (BRA). In 2006, they won the GP of Valkenswaard and they came second in the GPs of Dubai, Wiesbaden and Rotterdam. Eurocommerce Canturano’s dam’s sire Coriano was in 2002/03 loaned by the Holsteiner Verband to Zangersheide- Léon Melchior’s stud in Lanaken (BEL). Melchior’s daughter Judy-Ann, who was 16 years old at the time, won the national title of the Belgian juniors at a home competition on Coriano Z in 2003.

The dam’s stock 2067 then goes further back via Ahorn Z - Fontan - Kadett - Goldschmid -Favus - Famos - Ordner - Racker - Habitus (Hann). Kadett (sire: Kalif) and Racker (sire: Amurath) provide an eastern tint. A sister of grandam Zalme produced Hugo Simon’s derby winner Gondoso. Stock 2067 also produced the international show jumpers Lausbub and Leonardo of Franke Sloothaak, Leonidas of Lars Nieberg and Lordon of Luciana Diniz. A year after being licensed, Eurocommerce Canturano did his 70-day test in Adelheidsdorf where, with a total index of 131.86, he finished as “HLP-Sieger” out of 32 class mates. His jumping index was also good for first place (135.20 points). His dressage index was a little lower: 118.74 points- with which he nevertheless brought him a seventh place in this section. In the spring, after completing his 30-day test, he was licensed by the KWPN with an 8.5 for take-off, an 8 for technique, a 9 for scope and an 8.5 for aptitude in his report.

The mother is one of the first offspring of the Olympic stallion Eurocommerce Berlin. The pedigree from Zottie-P is the well known Lottie-Zottie line. Zottie-P is at this moment with her rider Jorie Wigman in Munich and will start competing in jumping courses as from 2009.
